That is so true! Unfortunately, the local radio station, KDKA in Pittsburgh, has a talk show host named Marty who said that it is not an issue if Santorum lives in VA. I didn't know I lived in a country that talk show hosts tell the voters what we can and cannot feel is important to us in our candidates. This was after a Penn Hills caller said to Marty that he was angry about seeing moving trucks not too long ago moving Santorum back into his abandoned Penn Hills home. Marty then claimed that most congressmen do not live in the states that elected them. Am I not getting something?
I don't think the problem i so much where he lives but that he claimed to live in Penn Hills school district to cheat them out of funding send his lovely children to cyberschool because his VIRGINIA school district doesn't pay for cyberschool. Way to go slick Rick. He even made the statement that he doesn't pay taxes in Virginia. I think that was another untruth, but if he doesn't I'm sure Virginia schools would like to know.
Not much intelligent commentary, Santorium has paid Penn Hills property taxes for decades. Isn't that what qualifies his children to be educated by the school district? Welfare? Get your facts straight. One of the first battles Senator Santorum waged helped 100,000's of US citizens move from welfare to work. Bob Casey, JR. has yet to exhibit any evidence that he's ready to represent PA--running for statewide office 4 times in 6 years--all he does is run for office and dodge the tough questions, tough issues.

Senator Santorum...I think you have to start thinking of moving your things from your office at Washington to Penn or Virginia wherever you want to stay. I believe it will be Virginia.
Al, I'm sure it'll be VA. When Man-On-Dog loses on Tuesday, he'll have a cushy new lobbyist job by 10am Wednesday (prob'ly at 10x his current on-the-books salary, too). It'll be his reward both for his participation in the K Street Project and for his career-long GOP brown-nosing (I'm amazed he can see anything from his vantage point, given how deep in that crevice he is).

From finding years-old WMD documents in W's pants (one of Rick's fave hangouts), to opposing stem cell research to keep his rabid religious base happy, to throwing habeas corpus and the Constitution under the bus to give King George III what he wanted, Santorum has been one of the GOP's most faithful lap dogs (maybe that's what inspired his man-on-dog remark a few years back). I'm not thrilled by Casey, and he'll have to work damn hard to make me happy; but Rick was a lost cause from day one. PA needs and deserves two senators that work for us, not for the GOP.
